Technical Services Branch Loans and Grants Unit

***American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009***

Mission:
To provide guidance, and technical and financial assistance to units of local government and certain non-profit water corporations, in order to provide safe drinking water in the state of North Carolina.

Means
The Loans and Grants unit administers a number of of funding programs for drinking water capital projects (including planning loans).

Application Procedures
Consult with the Loans and Grants engineer early in the process. Contact the engineer covering your area.

Applicants can apply for assistance at any time. The Public Water Supply Section reviews applications  received prior to the two semiannual review periods:

  • Oct.1 to March 31 (for all programs except for DWSRF) and
  • April 1 to Sept. 30(for all programs).
